West Salem Baptist Church Worship Service 2017

There have been a few things that I have looked forward to as a mom, and watching my child(ren) perform on stage has been one of them. Daniel has been so shy in years past, that there have been things he has not even participated in because the drama was just too great for the payoff. Last year, and this year he has been such a trooper to overcome his "fear" and "anxiety" and they've been such joyous proud moments for me. Enjoy a few pictures from this years service.

An Evening with Family- -

We had an evening with family. We grilled out steaks, corn on the cob, loaded baked potatoes, with this wonderful fruit salad- - it was yummy!!!!

Kids played, we talked, it was a great evening! Enjoy the few pics I took!!!

Dennis will be ordained as a Deacon on Sunday---
And We want to see you there.....

Church starts very promptly at 10:30 a.m. at West Salem Baptist Church. (500 Turner Road, Salem VA 24153) Off of exit 137 on I-81.
We will have a sermon, Dennis will be ordained; and then we will go to THE HOMEPLACE for lunch afterwards. Will you be able to make it? If so, PLEASE email me or leave me a comment and let me know, I need to know who to plan for??

For church Family-
I did not send you an invitation to the ordination because you will already be there.. but if you would like to come to lunch with us to THE HOMEPLACE after church than please email me or leave a comment so that I know that you will be coming. New Years Eve & A Small little getaway!

 

On New Years Eve we went to Nathan & Erin's and had a GREAT time. It was a wonderful way to ring the new year!!! We met a couple there and we really enjoyed their company and their twin boys!

THEN.. later we went to Damascus and spent two evenings with Larry & Tammy. They bought and remodeled a new home and it was very beautiful! I took these two shots below Friday morning from our room. It snowed just at tiny amount!

This is the rounded roof below covered with snow!!! It is a 1800 Victorian home! Much character in this house! :)

Happy Birthday To Me!!

On Friday, December 26, 2008 I turned 23 years old!!! :)

We celebrated by Dennis taking me to Build-A-Bear!!! It was such a GREAT gift! I had so much fun!! I created a little puppy dog named Layne. He is here below. He is the cutest thing, and I love sleeping with him!

 

Allie likes him too! I caught them snuggling together the other night. I think Harper might be replaced!

 

Then we went to Texas Steakhouse and had dinner. I always love a good steak after Christmas food! It is SO good. Some of my family and Dennis' family joined us.. and Erin & Nathan too! Thanks for joining us everyone...

 

 

 

 

Then Mom & Keith gave me another great gift. These are some earrings to go with my Smokey Quartz collection that they have been building on the past three birthdays!! I started out with a ring that I wear ALL THE TIME, and then a bracelet last year, and now earrings!!! It is a GREAT tradition for me!! :)
