Kathleen's Baby Shower

I will spend 30% of my young life attending baby showers....

This is the The Mom To Be... Kathleen!

Ava made Kathleen her very own card and was reading it along with Kathleen.
I thought that it was a sweet picture.

This is a beautiful diaper cake above! It is wrapped in brown and purple ribbon but underneath are diapers for the little girl or BOY when it gets here. . . I think that it is a boy!
I also like the prettiness of the cake, too!
Lauren and Sarah did a great job with this shower! Top Notch ladies!

This is my bag of goodies that I got her! My gifts included a 3-pack thing of wipes to clean the babies bottom, Dreft stain remover for spit up stains, kleenex's for snotty noses, a pacifer medicine dispenser for running noses, santizer cloths for germy hands, and teething rings for teething gums!
We are excited for Kathleen to have her baby!
The baby should arrive in approx 2-3 weeks!

If any of you are wondering how I did with all the yummy delicious food.. I will be proud to announce that I did not eat one single morsel of anything, except a glass of punch!!!!

but a shower of prayers and even tips!!....

Sunday, October 5, 2008 I threw Erin a baby shower. I organized the shower with the help of Bekka who graciously let us use her home.

I had the ladies create a prayer for Erin, Nathan & Baby and decorate it very pretty....
and boy do I know some creative ladies.

The goal was for Erin to be able to keep and cherish these heartfelt prayers for her family.

Task #2 was to make a tip.

Everyone made up a tip for each child they have at their current age. Or a good marriage tip to keep things fresh.

So, some made 1 card, some made 5...

I will put these in order, so that she will have a bundle of tips helpful for a span from 0-23 years of age. . .

I know that I am destined to be a teacher when I get excited over working bodies, busy with the task at hand!!! They were very busy getting the "assignment" done!

This party was a blast to throw. I hope that Erin will love the things that we made for her for many years to come. I hope that those of you that could come enjoyed yourselves.
