Around the House Exposures

IMG_2202

Today I needed to be outside in the beautiful weather!!!

So… Mr. Canon & I walked outside and played with some new features that Nathan talked to me about last night!

Above you will see a flawless blue sky. This blue sky appeared white until I cranked down the exposure number to darken it up a bit.. and it produced this blue sky more true to what my actual eye sees.

The car below is overexposed to allow the car to “pop” out of the pictures.

This is my favorite example in playing with the exposure numbers..

Below you will see it under the “normal” mid range exposure setting…

BELOW is the exposure tweeked down… it prevented the leaves from appearing so washed out! I love it.

This is a picture of the Sun…. . Remember, it was a bright blue sky, bright sun of a day.. and the camera exposure adjustments make the blue look dark, and cranked down the brightness of the sun… and this is what you get.

And I just liked the idea of this… a pretty day smells like clean laundry….  right??
