Just in case!!! :D
After Dennis' weekly "breakfast date" with himself at Famous Anthony's, we got the bags ready to leave for the hospital. I had planned to do this today anyway, but I will admit that some random little "twinges" got me moving to do it a little more quickly. The twinges are nothing, but the great thing is… we have our things mostly ready to go……. just in case.
If there are any MUST have's that you as a mother needed, or you as a husband could not live without, PLEASE PLEASE email me or comment here to let me know! I need all the suggestions I can get.
Also, we are choosing NOT to take the computer with us to the hospital but we have nominated Kristin Bolling to make our blog posts and facebook updates so that you all can be informed about the details that I won't be able to write about until AFTER the fact, and by then, it's just too late, isn't it?? (Thanks Kristin for being willing!)
I truly don't mean to make my blog boring by writing about all things baby related, but in truth, all things here right now, are in fact, baby related!! So, it's just par for the course.

praying for you and Dennis (and Baby Daniel!) as the "day" quickly approaches!!! I'll be sure and keep an eye out for updates both on your blog, and facebook. Best of luck!!!
I know I just "know" you from the blog world, but I am so excited for you! I love reading the updates and I can't wait to see pictures of baby Daniel. I'll be praying for you!
Hmmm...I can't think of anything you probably haven't thought of. Lanolin, you'll definitely need that, and if you don't, you'll be glad you did anyway. Snacks for Dennis...you probably have those already. Music for labor, and a nicy cozy sweater. Oh, and make sure you like Dennis' ringtone; he's going to be on the phone a lot. When I was in the hospital, I would turn the Weather Channel on for us to sleep to - it's a nice, comforting thing to have on during the night and it's easier to wake up to feed baby when the room's not comfortably pitch black. You can do it, Shannon! You know you can call anyone if you need anything (and by that, I mean you can call us if you need anything) :)
CHAPSTICK!!!! Shannon, you must take chapstick. If you labor long you really aren't allowed to eat or drink during the process and your lips get so dry! Praying for you guys! Laura
I was a dismal baby bag packer. I forgot to bring a diaper bag, I forgot to bring lots of clothing in case I had a c-section and had to stay in the hospital. But I am sure you got it covered...I wanted my own pillow...so that's my big suggestion. I can't believe the day is almost here.
no recent post...does any one have an update???? has daniel arrived????
