Shannon
Beg Weight: 174
New weight: 171
Weight loss difference: 3 pounds.
THIS WAS THE GOAL! AND I SUCCEEDED!
Was this disappointing? Yes!!! I almost cried! In fact, I did a little before I got ready for church this morning. But I need to clarify something: I THINK that I really weigh 175, because 99% of the time I weigh 175-176 and the time that I weighed for a starting weight, it said 174. So, for the blog calculations it was 3 pounds, but I really do think that it might be more like 4-5 pounds! So, after I considered that, I felt better!! So, I learned that more water intake in crucial! and more exercise would not hurt either! Overall, I feel good, and I am proud for the accomplishment of not eating junk, fast food, fried food, and really watching my portions. I have accomplished much in one week that I am very proud of!
So, I guess you are ready for Dennis, huh? Some of you probably know how this is going to go!
Dennis
Beginning weight: 233 pounds
New weight: 225 pounds!!!
Weight lost: 8 pounds!
WOW~
Dennis has done great! Weight loss blooper: We both dreamed last night that we ate doughnuts! No kidding! I woke up happy because I thought that I ate a chocolate doughnut! Dennis had a dream that he ate two! So guess who gained 2 pounds just dreaming they ate one? ME! of course!
I am very proud of us! I do not know if this diet is for me, yet.. but I am willing to give it one more week before I start doing it my way! I don't know what is ideal for weight loss in one week, but I was sure hoping for more than 3-4 pounds!!! I will do better next week!!

Congratulations to both of you! That is awesome. I am so proud of you both. I wish I could have the same sort of discipline.
Great job on eating healthy and working out all week! Be careful to not focus so much on weightloss that you allow that to be the determining factor in your "success". Life long success wih weight control is not about how much you loose, but what you are eating and how much activity you are getting. (Note to self: Jess, be sure to apply your own advice to your own weightloss activity. Check. :)
Have a great day, Shannon!!
Jess
You go, girl! I need you to tell me about this diet thing - I think according to those weight charts, I'm like 10 pounds over what I'm supposed to be. *Gag* OK so anyways...I was also told in college that you're only supposed to lose like a pound a week to be healthy, but I don't know if that's true since everything makes you lose more than that! :)
